Benetton plans outsourcing from India : HindustanTimes.com
Italian fashion major Benetton Group is planning to outsource clothings from India for its vast 5,000 chain of retail outlets across the globe.'We are thinking to distribute Indian products overseas where we are present in 20 countries,' Benetton Group Chairman Luciano Benetton said in Kolkata on Friday through an interpretor.
He, however, did not divulged any further details on this plan.
United Colours of Benetton brand is present in India through Benetton India brand for the last few years and already sources almost 98 per cent of the local requirement from the domestic market."
