Fendi
Fendi: The Fendi luxury empire started in 1925 when Eduardo and Adele Fendi opened the doors of their small leather and fur store in Via del Plebiscito in the center of Rome.Having its own workshop, he store quickly became very popular and in 1932 the Fendi family opened another shop, this time on Via Piave. Over time, they opened many shops to sell their creations. Nowadays, there are 6 Fendi shops on Via Borgognona alone.
An important step in the development of the business was the marriage in 1965 between the German designer Karl Lagerfeld and one of Adele's daughter which proved to be a success for both companies.
