Japanese fashion in full bloom

Japanese fashion in full bloom Popular designer Keita Maruyama, a familiar face at the Paris Collection, brightened up Japan Fashion Week in Tokyo as the glamorous event entered its fifth day on Friday, unveiling a showy, cheerful collection on the catwalk.

Flowers, flowers and more flowers dominated Maruyama's designs to match the floral theme he chose. His patterns ranged from bold, psychedelic floral prints reviving images of the 1970s to smaller daintily embroidered flowers. KEITA MARUYAMA TOKYO PARIS also presented a dress resembling a sheet of rose petals, bringing an end to the designer's vibrant, sexy fashion showcase.

Street sense underscored Kiminori Morishita's Halb collection for men. Jackets with a military tinge and vintage manufactured jeans combined to offset dressy shirts with frills and bowties.

I wish Japanese fashion success, but Italian fashion will still be on top.
